East Rich Enterprise was founded in 2006, but the story of our brushes began in 1969.
A family tradition,
refined over decades.
In 1969, the founder's father — Mr. Lai Youyi — entered the brush-making industry in Taiwan, joining the production of Zhengde Art. By 1983, he had founded Yongli Brush, becoming one of the pioneers promoting Taiwanese art culture through brushes.
East Rich Enterprise was founded in 2006, carrying forward two decades of accumulated technique and adding global manufacturing standards. Today, supported by 150 skilled workers, we handle every step of production entirely in-house.
Jeff Lai
eff learned the craft from his father — and developed a deep passion for it that drives every decision at East Rich today. He's known in the industry for a major innovation: introducing the first aluminum brush handles crafted with advanced CNC machining and laser engraving, completely transforming traditional brush design.
As part of our commitment to social responsibility, Jeff actively supports Taiwan’s art community. East Rich regularly hosts watercolor competitions, workshops, and brush-making DIY classes at our Taiwan headquarters to pass down the authentic technique of brush-making

Beginning
起源Mr. Lai Youyi founded Yongli Enterprise. Yongli Brush became a pioneer in Taiwanese art culture, with one philosophy: make the best brush possible.
East Rich is born
創立East Rich Enterprise (Taiwan) Co., Ltd. and East Rich Enterprise (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd, first factory were founded.
International exhibition
首次出展First international exhibition — the renowed IDS Dental Exhibition. This opened the door for us to make professional dental laboratory ceramic brushes. Since then, we have actively taken part in major exhibitions worldwide to promote our nail art, fine art, and dental brushes
Capacity expansion
擴廠our production reached its limit due to high market demand. To expand our capacity, we established Henan Yitai Cosmetics Limited together with Mr. Wang Bin and Mr. Hu Jinkui, our trusted partners since 2006. This expansion grew our team to 150 workers and elevated our quality.
New headquarters
成立總部Our new Taiwan headquarters was completed to give back to society. The facility features an image hall to share our brush-making craft with industry professionals and students. We also designed hands-on brush-making DIY workshops here to pass down our knowledge and culture.
